Beautiful, modern hostel with artsy elements. The rooms and common areas are very comfortable, clean and have everything you need. The bar downstairs is very cool and busy, however once you’re in your room – you can’t hear any noises from it. The kitchen is spacious and clean. They also have a rooftop pool. Overall- great hostel. I would highly recommend it.

The hostel is beautiful, pretty new, clean, comfortable, and friendly! bedrooms are fantastic and warm. people are very kind and serviceable. the food is delicious and of great quality. I completely recommend going to this hostel. The only point kind of less positive, but not even negative, would be the location, you have a tramp station only two blocks so is easy to connect to other areas in the city, but if you want to walk around or to downtown, I found the area a bit desolated, but nothing to worry about.

I don’t know if this is normal but the bathroom lock not working was a bit strange.

really good hostel, the personal was so nice, the place has a bar and a nice kitchen. the do activities like karaoke night, movie night, paint your tote bag, etc. only thing is that its really cold at night in the bedroom, oh and remember to bring your own lock. totally recommended. loved it

(For YellowBox Florence) Room was very modern and comfortably spacious. The staff were welcoming and easy to get along with. The activities that they provide during your stay is what makes it a 10/10. Meeting people is not my strong point but this provided me with a beautiful opportunity to meet a range of different people from all over which was great.

Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Place is extremely clean and modern. Beds are great because they come with an electronic safe and shelf that allows you to put your electronics or possessions on within close reach. The atmosphere is social, should you choose to partake. The only thing that’s missing is laundry facilities. Location is decent enough. About a 20 minute what to the train station/city centre.

This hostel gave me a lot of cool experiences. Thanks to the staff and the incredible people there, definitely a super experience. All clean, all in order, good prices, excellent attention.

Unprofessional behavior!
Right now I’m in the hostel. I have booked a bed for 10 nights. The receptionist told me that she “will not allow” me to stay in my room since I “have to” change the room!!! So I should check out at 10 am and stay in the lobby until 3 pm that I could check in for the new room!!! I have booked a bed for 10 nights and changing room doesn’t make sense. If it was changing room because of the extension it would make sense.

I’m adding this today (12th of January 2023). Another unprofessional behavior! I’m so sorry for this management! I asked the receptionist to extend my stay at the hostel and they told me we cannot do this. So I was supposed that I maybe can book a bed online but the receptionist told me that they will reject my booking. I have reported this absolute unprofessional behavior to the headquarter and I hope they will respond me about the reason! Definitely I should report this to the council. It’s so weird!!!

I have written this on the google review as well and I know that you don’t care! I know it because I sent an email to the headquarters and I didn’t get any response! So I’m so sorry for the management in the Florence branch!

Vibrant colours, great design, a fun-looking social programme and lovely staff – this hostel was a real treat to stay in. Would definitely stay here again. It’s nice to be a little outside the centre of Florence, as it’s a little more relaxed- and in a good little neighbourhood with all the local shops and eateries you need.

Great experience overall: I had a comfortable stay without any problems, enjoyed the services and some of the organized events, and got to meet some interesting fellow travelers, so I would stay YellowSquare definitely added something positive to my Florence trip and memories.

The rooms where very big and confortable. Nice Lobby and amazig atmosphere fore backpackers or youth.

Very friendly atmosphere, clean and full of fun activities!

I would have paid 20 instead of 30 but the overall atmosphere was really cool ! Same for the cocktails, although we had discounts I feel like 6,80 for a cocktail was a lot.
Also I had a lock on me which was nice but maybe it could be cool to warn the guests that a lock is required for the lockers, I don’t remember seeing it on my booking confirmation or anything. Thank you for everything though!!!

So surprised to see such a beautiful building as a hostel.
Location was great, 5 min walk to the tram or 20 minute walk in to town which I felt safe to do as a female traveller.
The accommodation felt new and had everything to make your stay comfortable. Personal safes a reading light and a socket inside your bunk space, dedicated lockers. Plenty pegs and hangers for storing things. Lots of mirrors and the ensuite was great incorporating a double sink so the space could be shared with other lodgers.
My key card kept needing reset so that was a bit inconvenient

There is a bar/restaurant in the ground floor and they make activities every night that helps a lot to meet people and enjoy the night

I was in room 108. The shower in the bathroom did not have proper pressure. Water was coming out at very low pressure. Just because the bathroom door open outwards, the water was coming out to the room.
Otherwise good room space , bed and staff.

It was amazing to be at Yellow Square. The staff was really friendly and helpful, especially, Mili and Jo jo. The rooms were cleans and tidy and all the facilities were provided.

I had very nice memories over there. Hostel is really nice place to meet people and have good rest. Thank you very much.

I loved staying at yellow square, one of the best in town, the management was friendly and rooms were clean. Everything was perfect 10/10
