I had a really comfortable stay. Check in was easy and convenient and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Really appreciated the safe in the rooms as well
Amazing stay! The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and understanding. The activities were great, and you even have the option to grab breakfast to eat on the rooftop. Honestly such an awesome hostel, highly recommend!
The facilities are very well equipped, location is perfect very close to the train station and not too long a walk to historic centre. The bar downstairs is very convenient, lots of fun activities for everyone.
The rooms were very clean and spacious. This is my second time staying at YellowSquare Florence – the first time in a dorm and the second in a private room. Both times they exceeded expectations! They are very affordable with good quality and I love the cafe/breakfast area they have by the reception desk.
This hostel was so fun! This was maybe hostel #7 that I stayed in for my trip through Italy, and it was most definitely my favorite one. Everyone was very social and very open to making friends. Yellowsquare themselves fosters a space that breeds community amongst its guests. This hostel was a little more expensive then I was used to paying, but 100% worth it.
This hostel is maintained very clean. You get almost everything you need starting from the curtains to the free pasta they give everyday. The food in the hostel is very affordable and of high quality.
This place also has a very balanced vibe. Its not extremely party party nor is it super boring. Interesting games happen every night for people to socialise. I would 100% stay here again when i am in florence.
We had an AMAZING time staying here! The staff was so helpful with everything, the rooms were super clean with a lot of space, there were events every night, and there were so many places to hang out/ meet people!! We would 100% stay here if in Rome again.
Great staff, great vibe and perfect location.
Amazing hostel. The best I’ve ever been in terms of infrastructure. Amazing rooms and bathrooms, great food, perfect social activities, incredible employees. Location is far from the messy touristic area but one can reach there in a short walk.
The perfect hostel in Athens. Friendly staff, good breakfast, excellent room, and the location is fantastic and in a rapidly developing area. I’ll definitely recommend it.
Loved the space and front desk staff! So helpful and welcoming. We received a free drink card and they offer food on the main floor! Atmosphere was really friendly with board games, seating and a wellness space! Kitchens were spacious and clean! Absolutely incredible visit, would definitely recommend. We even got our 4 person hostel upgraded to 2 private dorm by chance. The best way I can describe the place is a clean modern campus residence dormitory with a great atmosphere.
The room I was with in had a weird moldy smell and visible mold. I felt myself getting wheezy from the poor ventilation and the placement of the bar so close let to hard times sleeping with all the noise. Thanks amenities, but still very expensive and not my favorite.
It was good however the room that i stay it was not cover my bed
I had a great time. Slept better than I expected in the six-bed dorm and the facilities with storage in the room were well thought through (even though I couldn’t completely shut and lock my under-bed storage).
Evrything was super nice and as described! Great vibes, would stay again!
I enjoyed my expierence here, I liked the vibes of the hostel and the design/set up! I think it was worth the price- I got a private.
I liked this hostel. I’m glad it was so close to the tram stops.
The free pasta was a nice way to come together in a social setting.
I got a good free book from the shelf.
I had lots of fun at karaoke. The noise stayed downstairs, from the room I didn’t hear anything, very good soundproofing.
I was really impressed with the space in Rome. It felt incredibly welcoming and productive. I really Liked that the bar was separate from the lobby and felt like a proper bar. Most hostels have the bar in the lobby and it’s very crammed/clashing vibes. The rooms always felt clean, especially the bathrooms! No mold, dust, dirt! Was really content with my experience 🙂
Everything ran smoothly, from checkin to checkout. The facilities are comfortable and the people are receptive. The guests are from different ages, counties and background. The price is reasonable and I loved the experience.
The best hostel ive stayed in. Its sociable, clean and the staff are really helpful.
I stayed in milan for 4 days and ran into an issue where I stupidly left my phone in the Uber but it was handed in and the staff knew who it belonged to and saved it for me when I went down to ask if anything had been handed in. Very grateful and the staff where not judgemental at all.
Plenty of events and plenty of things to do and is very secure. I think when I go to Rome I will be staying at the yellowsquare there and another’s dotted around Europe because it was fantastic. Definitely a returning customer! 🙂
I booked YellowSquare because it had such high ratings on HostelWorld and it was close to the pick-up spot for my bus trip to Cinque Terre. However, it is not close to much of else and needs to serve as a restaurant, a bar and a club because it’s so far from everything. The bunk beds are essentially metal sheets and, if the room is cold, the metal just traps the cold. It was overpriced for the overall experience and I wish I had paid a little more for a better location and at the same comfort level.
Atmosphere was great, enjoyed the events at night, staff super friendl!.
Beds comfortable but rooms not very well ventilated. Sheets were clean but duvets had stains on them.
The ensuite stayed clean, but it would be great if there was somewhere to put your belongings in the shower cubical; it was difficult to get changed especially when there was no lock on main bathroom door.

The cleaning was not good at all. The smell in the room was heavy
The hostel is located in two buildings on opposite sides of the street, bar and car noise will get into your room when you’ve got a street side window. The room interior is colorless, the bathroom quite small compared to the available space between the beds.
Elevators are slow and undersized for 6 floors of hostel, 3 person per cabin
The bar is well stocked with fair prices, cool activities are ordered. But it will be incredibly full even on a weekday
The breakfast is incredible, well worth the 11€
It’s about 10 mins walk to termini
It was hard for me to relate and become friends with the people staying in my dorm because of how much older the people were. Lack of privacy with no curtains makes it difficult to feel comfortable while sleeping.
Yellowsquare Rome was my first ever stay at a hostel on my first solo trip ever and I didn’t expect to love it so much. Everything was so easy and went on so smoothly because of the help of the staff. My favourite part was the Yellowbar where I got to have free pasta every night and meet so many different and amazing people. The activities were also so fun and I really had the best time. Also amazing location, everything was at a walking distance and that was great.

This is by far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at.
There is absolutely nothing I missed or didn’t find there! The location made me not want to be elsewhere, the staff are super friendly, food is good, coffee is brilliant and it’s always spotless clean!

I stayed at this hostel in Milan with a friend, and we were really pleasantly surprised. Honestly, I didn’t have high expectations since it was my first time staying in a hostel, but it easily exceeded a hotel.

we stayed in your hostel for three nights. We had booked private room for two persons. The room was tady and bathroom was very clean. In the room there is a televison too!
The bed was confortable.
The guys from staff in reception/ bar were wonderful! They were nice, helfull and very cheerfull.
I appreciate very good breakfast menu, it was so delicious and big portions!
I like your eveningprograms!
If we will go to Milano again, we know where to stay!
I really enjoyed my stay at Yellow Square in Florence. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and clean, and the bed comfortable. Lots of great people and good vibes in the evening. But also space to relax on your own or work if you need it. Great coffee and breakfast. Would recommend and stay here again myself 🙂
The hostel was so beautiful, good location and the dorms were really clean.
Great Hostel with nice equipment. The shared room was fairly confortable and was located in a calm area. The hostel is closed to the train station and city center in a calm neighborhood.

YellowSquare was great! The staff were kind and helpful. The bars there are great and well-priced and the rooftop terrace is fantastic. The social events were great fun and good for meeting others at the hostel.
The hostel is good in different aspects. The only disadvantage is the ventilation in the room has a room for improvement.
