YellowSquare is looking for Square Enthusiasts for the YellowSquare in Rome.
Our Enthusiasts are in charge of creating unforgettable memories to our guests’ stay.
We strongly believe in the balance between work and private life and we promote a fun and stimulating work environment. We love proactive people, motivated to learn new skills and overcome new challenges.
What does the Square Enthusiast does?:
- Dealing with guests and their questions and personal requests
- Welcoming the guest and processing their Check-in and Check-out
- Interacting with customers, taking orders, preparing drinks and serving food
Preparing bills and taking payments - Providing concierge services, such as promoting events and activities at the hostel and providing information about local amenities and attractions
- Works as part of a team, supported by colleagues
Requirements:
- Previous experience in similar roles (ie Receptionist and/or Bartender/Barista), at least 1 year experience
- Ability to collaborate within a team and other departments;
- Flexibility to work on a shift schedule on any day and time of the week from Monday to Sunday.
- Excellence in customer service;
- Highly proficient in spoken English;

Volunteering Program
Rome, Milan, Florence
Our Volunteering Program aims to be a learning and fun period full of very unique experiences. Selected volunteers are welcomed in our Squares with a big smile and provided with guidelines and training to excel in their role.
We ask for:Â
- Availability for a minimum of 6 weeks
- Volunteers will support the Square for 32 hours per week, and they will have at least 2 days to relax or enjoy Italy’s beauties.
In return we will provide:
- Free accommodation in a mix dorm
- 2 meals a day at our bar/restaurant
- Discounts for any additional purchase at our venues
- Free participation in our activities, including Cooking Classes and Walking tours
- Experience in multiple sectors such as hospitality, F&B, tours, marketing and running social events/activities

Are you a traveling artist?

STAY FOR FREE PROGRAM
Rome, Milan, Florence
Present your artistic collaboration proposal with the hostel, and if it gets accepted, you’ll be able to stay with us free of charge.
The program is designed for traveling artists (such as photographers, musicians, videographers, illustrators) who have the desire and opportunity to share their skills while they are on the road. Remember to present your abilities, but most importantly, propose how these skills can be incorporated into our Squares, accompanied by videos and photos. There are no limits or restrictions, but we require you to submit your ideas at least 3 weeks in advance. This way we can arrange everything for your arrival so we can bring an awesome project to life. Write to us at events@yellowsquare.it.
