We are looking for a Cook for the Square in Rome – Castro Pretorio. If you are a passionate Cook with relevant experience, we would love to hear from you.
Cook tasks:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold dishes;
- Operate kitchen equipment;
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment;
- Stock inventory according to storage requirements;
- Dismantle and clean machinery as needed;
Desired Requirements:
- Previous experience in similar role, at least 1 year experience
- Teamwork: ability to collaborate within a team and to follow procedures;
- Flexibility: working time and hours; our Kitchen is open from 7 am to midnight, from Monday to Sunday;
- Experience in high intensity kitchen work;
- Knowledge of English and Italian;

Our Enthusiasts are in charge of creating unforgettable memories to our guests’ stay.

What does the Square Enthusiast does?:
- Dealing with guests and their questions and personal requests
- Welcoming the guest and processing their Check-in and Check-out
- Interacting with customers, taking orders, preparing drinks and serving food
Preparing bills and taking payments - Providing concierge services, such as promoting events and activities at the hostel and providing information about local amenities and attractions
- Works as part of a team, supported by colleagues
Requirements:
- Previous experience in similar roles (ie Receptionist and/or Bartender/Barista), at least 1 year experience
- Ability to collaborate within a team and other departments;
- Flexibility to work on a shift schedule on any day and time of the week from Monday to Sunday.
- Excellence in customer service;
- Highly proficient in spoken English;
