There were so many events going on from casual, socializing, to partying so the mix was absolutely amazing. Definitely the most social hostel I have ever stayed at as well. Couldn’t beat the environment!

I just loved my room and the hostel, in general.

The hostel is perfect. Very clean. Many activities. Generous with the pasta and the free food/drinks during the activities.

It was an incredible stay at the hostel. Everything was so clean, the staff was nice and the event plus the rooftop pool were excellent.

Just not what expected. The bed sheets were dirty – looked like chocolate. I put in the dorms just above the nightclub and so was awake into the early morning hearing the music. Also, the location isn’t great compared to other cheaper options – with a minimum of 20/25 minute walk to see any sights. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience but not worth the 1 night I stayed. Having a pool did make up for it.

I enjoyed the stay in the YellowSquare hostel in Florence. The building looks refurbished and all new, the rooms have AC which is perfect during the hot months of summer in Italy. I had a room with four beds, the room was clean, I had a locker to put my suitcase and backpack in there. Also the bathroom was well equipped (body wash, shampoo, hair dryer). The activities that are planned along the week allow you to make new connections with people which is very nice. I loved the rooftop pool with a view of Florence.

YellowSquare Florence exceeded all my expectations! The hostel has fantastic facilities, including an awesome rooftop pool with a great vibe. Everything was super clean, and the room and bedsheets were very comfortable.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—I had an issue with my reservation, but the manager on duty was so welcoming, kept me updated, and sorted it out smoothly.
They also offer tons of entertainment, like karaoke night and theme parties, making it really easy to meet people. An absolutely amazing experience, highly recommended!

The hostel itself is very clean, big, and well taken care of. The bar serves the best drinks, and the events keep it a very lively and social atmosphere. It is a perfect spot if you are doing a solo trip!

This is my first solo trip to Europe. The staff at YellowSquare Florence are some of the kindest and most interesting people I’ve ever met in my life! I shared a room with four other girls & the facilities are extremely clean & comfortable! They have regular cleaning services come through. The location of the hostel is a short 20 minute walk to the city center.

Met great people at the pool that I spend the rest of my time with

I had such a good time at this hostel. All the people were nice, the free pasta is great and the rooms are soo good! I love how cozy barmezzo and the outside terrace are. The activities were also really fun and the rooftop pool is perfect during hot days. Everybody was so social and I will definitely be coming back to this hostel at some point!

Clean rooms and sanitary facilities. Very friendly staff. I had a medical emergency and they where super helpfull, told me what hospital to go to and called me a cap. (In the end the hospital had outsourced the department I needed, to another hospital but they couldn’t know that) On the end I had to check out 2 nights earlier bc. of said emergency and I qas promised a refund for both nights. Nice and coazy communal areas. Just the comunal kitchen and some rooms are in the subterrain and therefore laking a bit of natural light even though they all have windows.
Overall a very nice hostal. Perfect for solo travelers.

Staff were lovely and very helpful, room was great for 4 of us for a few nights, location great, and a lovely atmosphere in communal parts. We’re a family of 4 with 2 teens and although we didn’t see anyone else our age we were made to feel very welcome and never out of place, thanks for having us.

Overall I enjoyed my stay here the rooms were spacious and I liked the on suite especially it having a separated shower and loo. I had a balcony which was an added bonus. The pool was really nice and the staff were all really helpful and lovely.

I couldn’t have asked for anything more. The vibes were immaculate. Everything was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly.

Just a really nice atmosphere, plenty to do in the hostel itself with events organised by staff who are so nice. City centre is about 30 mins by bus or walking which is honestly fine, bus stop is easily accessible and for the quality of the hostel it’s worth it. The breakfast is lovely and free pasta in evening even better. Also the rooftop pool is class

It is a little expensive, but that’s normal for Florence. The hostel is so friendly, accommodating of all languages, and it’s a great place for a first time hostel stay. There are lots of activities in the hostel if you want to meet people, but it’s also very peaceful in the rooms if you want to chill out on your own. I had a nap in the garden on my own too! I would really recommend if you want something easy for your trip. Also, if you are an anxious traveller or are worried about cleanliness, this place is cleaner than most hotels, and there are lots of bathrooms that aren’t in your rooms if you are worried about the queue for the toilet

I was surprised by the amount of space and the facilities, especially in the 6-bed female dorm. It was one of the most comfortable hostel stays I’ve had, and I had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a hostel. The atmosphere was social, the free pasta was a great bonus, and although it’s a little outside the city centre, it’s easy to get there by tram or a 15-minute walk.

I had low expectaions for hostels in general. But you have raised them. Private bathroom, staff thats helpful social area activities everything was just right. Never have I though ehmm this is missing. Hell you even give shampoo for free. That brings me to food. Having cooked pasta with sauce every evening and in the kitchen other atiff really saved me. I will definetely comeback. Only the water qas problem. Why wasnt it cold? But I mean it wasnt cold anywhere in Florence

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Facilities were excellent and dorm clean and very comfortable. The food served here was delicious also.

I really enjoyed my stay at yellowsquare Florence. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Plenty of activities to do during the stay. Clean hostel with air conditioning, no curtains on bed but can ask for one to put. The rooftop pool is a great bonus. The only this I’d say is that it’s a little far from city center (about 30 minute walk) and the transportation around isn’t the best. I’d definitely stay here again.

Everything was amazing. I felt very comfortable in that place. The facilities were very clean and well organized, the staff was always very kind, and the food was really good.

Loved staying here! Staff were all kind, rooms were very clean, and the location just outside the city center was great. The pool was perfect given the heat and we loved the pasta dinner.

Absolutely loved the curtains for each bunk, the air conditioning in the heatwave was a life saver, and the pool was the most amazing touch! We will definitely be back to stay here, the nightly free pasta and the free activities to meet other travellers were so so useful and we had such an amazing time here!

I was pleasantly surprised by the happy, bustling vibe that the hostel offered. I met some amazing people from the hostel and they had tons of fun activities for everyone to participate in! The room was comfortable and I had my own locker and privacy curtains.

Thank you for such an enjoyable stay! Me and my cousin stayed in a 4 bed dorm and had such a good time. I want to come back to Florence and will definitely book here again

This hostel makes an incredibly welcoming environment will lots of social activities all throughout the week to bring people together. The staff was great, the rooms were clean, and the pool made it completely worth it to be a little further from the City center.

I was surprised by how spacious, clean the room and all the facilities were (in contrast to the hostels I have stayed at). Ample storage. Good soundproof room and black-out curtain. My roommates were friendly and respectful. Love the designs and layout (inside and outside). I would stay with YellowSquare again. Grazie mille!!

Clearly I booked in a wrong place because of my age. 50 years old. The oldest guest had 30 years old as much. Atmosphere of College university. I read late that the maximum age is 45 years old .

Felt super safe here, nice staff, my bed was comfortable, and everything was nice and clean. The beds were made out of metal so if you’re moving it your bed it made a lot of noise which was kind of akward in the morning when you’re trying to not wake anyone else. But would definitely recommend, met the nicest people as well!!

I spent 4 nights at the hostel and all was great ! The room was clean with all the necessary to sleep well (In the dormitories there are curtains , lights, lockers…)
