YellowSquare is more than a hostel; it’s an international community designed for travelers who want to connect, work, and hang out. Across our locations in Italy and Greece, we provide female-only dorms, shared dorms, and private ensuite rooms, alongside working spaces and daily activities. Definitely not a boring hostel. From working over a coffee to evening events in our venues, we create a active atmosphere where locals and travelers meet and make friends. Every YellowSquare is a gateway to the city, focused on social vibes and the right place to meet people.
This was my first hostel experience. The bunks themselves in the room where perfectly adequate, although were in a configuration which didn’t give a great amount of privacy but were comfortable enough. The bathrooms were particularly dirty, shower had mould in the corners and the toilet wasn’t cleaned very frequently which was definitely needed. Outside of the room the facilities were fine but the building had a bad smell to it. You get what you pay for with accomodation but I was hoping better than this.
Facilities are new and nice. Beds have curtain rods but no curtains which would be nice. A bit far out from city center but not too bad.
It is by far the best hostel in the World!
Was our first hostle experience and probably wouldn’t stay here again. Our room wasn’t clean, mould in the shower. The “men” we stayed with didn’t seem to know how to use a toilet seat properly and had their stuff all over the room. The variety of experiences were cool but the whole place smelt like baby nappies/diapers the whole time we were there.
Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt very safe and comfortable staying within this hostel, and the vibes and social aspect was everything I had hoped for.
Very nice hostel, great staff, cool activities offered, had a great time there!
Easy to get to from the Railway Station, by tram or walking.Not too far from the main sites.

From a smooth & early check-in to good food and cheap drinks, this place has everything! The staff is super helpful and friendly. We arrived and Monica helped us check in very smoothly and gave us a welcome beer and maps on what to do in the area. They have fun activities to do all week long and the place is very centrally located to the great sights in Florence! If I were to stay in Florence again, I would gladly stay here!
Everything was very good and clean. Very happy staff . Nice renovated building . Parking in the accommodation.

YellowSquare Hostel was incredibly welcoming from the minute you walk through the door. The staff is friendly and helpful, there are an abundance of activities to participate in throughout the day and night if you’re wanting to stay in. The food was delicious, and the rooms were a great size, and every thing was very convenient.
The Hostel is beautiful, they always have very entertaining activities, the staff is amazing. The rooms are super comfortable. All excellent.

I loved my stay at YellowSquare so much to the point that I think it is the best hostel I ever stayed at out of a lot of hostels I stayed at before in my life. The rooms are spotlessly clean and so are the bathrooms, the reception and bar people are super nice, and every day there is something new to do and enjoy! Only stayed for two nights but wish I’d stayed longer. Definitely won’t be my last time coming here!

Loved this hostel!! The staff was super nice and welcoming, the bar very nice and the room (I got a private room for 3) was super clean, spacious and cosy, felt so relaxed in that environment and I 100% recommended for people that want to stay in a hostel that is safe and relaxing!
The Yellow Square seems to be in a newly built building, so of course the rooms were amazing. My dorm room even had a balcony! The staff was super friendly and upbeat. The shared areas were always clean and I was super comfortable during my time there.
I liked staying in the YellowSquare. Everything I new and modern. Rooms are well equipped. Bathroom could have been a bit tidier. Staff was super nice. Loved that only staff could open the luggage room. Hostel is a but far outside the city center but perfectly reachable by public transport. Would come back
This was the perfect place in many respects. Great vibes. Great staff. Great time.
I can say that it was one of the most beautiful places I have stayed. Rooms are very clean. The environment of the hostel i mean common area, bar and so on and staff are excellent.
I liked the idea of a youth hostel. Except that we clearly don’t share the same way of life.
I really don’t like being watch everywhere for security reasons. There are enough people working in the place to “have an eye”. Maybe some areas needs camera, but here it’s “big brother”
The prices are too high ! Offering a free drink and discount at the bar seems like a nice thought, but I ‘d rather pay less for the room, and not be “pushed to drink” to the bar.
The kitchen is not comfortable, nor friendly, wasted spaces and why 2 rooms ??
I’m disappointed to see that despite the number of people staying, the efforts for the good looking places, the design, the activities… it’s still more a bar than a youth hostel where you really meet people.
There should be a chilling spot on every floor that shouldn’t be a bar.

Nice people, bathroom inside the room, cool environment, very clean. Overall excellent! 3 minutes to the closest tram stop and 15 minute walk to the main train station

A lot of proposed events, everybody in the staff is available and happy to help, the rooms are modern and everything is clean.
I loved staying at YellowSquare! The rooms are super modern, beautiful and clean and I loved the sitting area at the bar, which has a huge variety of drinks and snacks. Also the breakfast is amazing! There are lots of activities offered by the staff. I would love to come back in the summer to have the full experience including the rooftop pool! The only thing is that it is a bit of a walk from the city center.
I thought it was a super fun environment, a great hostel, I was impressed with the rooms, etc.
My stay at YellowSquare has been a very good experience. The rooms and the beds have everything that you need ! The staff is friendly and help if you need it ! Take breakfast with your reservation, they are awesome !!!
