Overall, a good hostel with everything you may need. Had towels for rent, a hair dryer, luggage storage, free pasta, and was super close to Termini station. Would have been better with a privacy curtain!
To be honest I chose here even over boutique hotels which only take little bit higher price just due to cleanliness and safety in the first place this hostel provides, this is a somewhat prestigious hostel.
Good central location for mobility, I could almost go anywhere by walking. Trains and bus lines are easily accessible too
Friendly and helpful personnel, clean and hygienic rooms
Rooms having digitally run safety box in the each bunk bed space and manually locked personal cabinets
Having a nice bar to spend time on evenings
A proper air conditioner was in place
Good visitors with good vibes
Only downside was bathroom, shower cabin becoming a swimming pool while having a shower that the waste water channel must be somehow clogged.
It is a nice hostel with many rooms and a bar in front of the street where you can get breakfast & drinks. People are very nice and i had a great time, the only thing that could be better is the beds are made of metal and a bit noisy when somebody moves at night, i shared an all womens room and it was okay for the price.
Staff are great! Nice vibe, bedroom clean.
Fun, clean, convenient, social, safe.
The hostel itself was very nice and very clean. I stayed in the all female dorm and it was cleaned every day. Everyone is super friendly and I love the activities they plan each night. Would stay again
Everyone at the YellowSquare was lovely! Both guests and staff, facilities were clean, location was good.
Everything was awesome and really nice, the staffs and the atmosphere was incredible
I absolutely loved it at Yellowsquare. I stayed at an all female dorm and it was very secure, you need a card to get to the floor and then to get to your room. The beds were very comfy and you are provided with linen sheets and a comforter.
Air conditioning/fans ??
All in all amazingly positive experience, loved the staff involvement and engagement, I come from hospitality and know how hard this is to achieve.
stayed in Florence and Rome, the impression is you care and want to improve always and it shows in your operations! One thing i think could improve satisfaction, and frankly i have no idea how much more complex it’ll make the booking process is to allow the guest to see which beds are free within the room and choose top or bottom.
Loved you guys so much i was thinking to volunteer, even had a chat with the amazing Julio in rome (total keeper!!) then i reralized i might be too old for you guys at 47.
next life maybe 🙂
keep up the good work guys, was fun!
Their breakfast is easy practical, they make good cafe americano. One of the best ive tried in rome. Very safe. The lockers are big enough to fit all my luggage. The bed has a personal safe. Staff is very friendly.
The service was excellent, someone took my original bed (bottom bed) and the staff helped me and moved to another room to maintain the same type of bed. Also, it was easy to borrow and iron.
The rooms were clean, the storage space is big enough, and also the badroom was well equipped.
A brilliant hostel for solo travellers, I arrived here as my first stop on my trip and really appreciated all of the small details (free sanitary towels at reception, daytime and evening activities, discounts on drinks at the bar) as well as how the hostel is geared towards connecting people. The room was very spacious and the under bed storage was helpful. My one complaint would be that because the hostel is split across two sides of the street, it made it harder for me to access communal social areas like the kitchen, garden and other hang out spaces because hey weren’t directly in my building so felt a little too far to access easily. A communal lounge with sink and kettle in the D/E block would be brilliant! That being said, the bar area is great, I had a brilliant time at the karaoke event (even if our song never came up – would be good to maybe have a screen showing how many people have already joined the queue!) and thought it was a great space to meet new people. Staying here made the start of my trip so much easier, definitely worth the price and if I’m ever back in Rome, I will be staying here again!
Love it have activity u can cook in it
A good hostel, separate from the bar across the street so you don’t hear any noise. Also a quiet part of town that has a balance of restaurants and housing.
Amir was very kind and professional when he took care of us. The hostel is always clean and has a fun vibe. All guests are kind and polite too.
In general it’s a great place to stay. Loved the bar and their food, activities were good but the beds are super inestable and the bathrooms light was not working. also the shower is super small
Polite and welcoming staff and friendly guests
The place was clean, good environment and good activities
Good service, comfortable room, good food, and activities. The best hostel for my first solo trip.
My friend and I enjoyed our stay. Hostel was very solid all around. The only thing was that there was pretty much nowhere to set belongings in the bathroom or in the room itself (save for a small desk and two small chairs in the room for 6 people), and this was frustrating because it meant having to place things on the ground or in precarious positions on what few/small surfaces there were.
I enjoyed my stay. The staff is kind and the hostel has a great vibe. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn’t working, and it was quite hot during my stay. We were told the hostel was still in winter mode, which was confusing.
I didn’t even sleep in my bed. I slept in reception because i had a flight to catch and asked them to wake me up by 8am if my alarm didn’t work. They were understanding and nice
It was my first time in a hostel, so i really liked it! The room was great, the bathroom was pretty good(i was expecting the worse) and everything was really clean. And i felt like in a movie while i was getting down from my room to the streets, so yes, i really liked. The bar is also really great, i made 2 new friends and discovered a drink that i love (yellow passion). Also, the mixology experience was a 10/10!
everything was super cool and clean
I visited yellow square Florence last year so I knew what I was getting myself into , in my opinion there are things that I liked at Florence better but i definitely like the staff better in Rome so sweet and caring they value you as a person not just as a guest . Room is clean and I am very very sensitive when it comes to hygiene so I really mean it. No complaints at all
YellowSquare is so amazing right from the reception to the overall stay. The meals and bar top notch. It was fun all through.
10 am chek out !!? housekeeper talk to me like a boss wtf !!? the reception and the rooms are defrente building !!? I never see something like that
It was excellent, the staff, accommodation, everything, can’t wait to see you again.
Had such an amazing experience! People were so friendly, staff were so helpful. If I’m ever back I will definitely be staying there again.
The facilities are very well equipped, location is perfect very close to the train station and not too long a walk to historic centre. The bar downstairs is very convenient, lots of fun activities for everyone.
We had an AMAZING time staying here! The staff was so helpful with everything, the rooms were super clean with a lot of space, there were events every night, and there were so many places to hang out/ meet people!! We would 100% stay here if in Rome again.
Great staff, great vibe and perfect location.
The room I was with in had a weird moldy smell and visible mold. I felt myself getting wheezy from the poor ventilation and the placement of the bar so close let to hard times sleeping with all the noise. Thanks amenities, but still very expensive and not my favorite.
I had a great time. Slept better than I expected in the six-bed dorm and the facilities with storage in the room were well thought through (even though I couldn’t completely shut and lock my under-bed storage).
I was really impressed with the space in Rome. It felt incredibly welcoming and productive. I really Liked that the bar was separate from the lobby and felt like a proper bar. Most hostels have the bar in the lobby and it’s very crammed/clashing vibes. The rooms always felt clean, especially the bathrooms! No mold, dust, dirt! Was really content with my experience 🙂
Everything ran smoothly, from checkin to checkout. The facilities are comfortable and the people are receptive. The guests are from different ages, counties and background. The price is reasonable and I loved the experience.
Hello🤍 This was my sencond time at this hostel.
The cleaning was not good at all. The smell in the room was heavy
The hostel is located in two buildings on opposite sides of the street, bar and car noise will get into your room when you’ve got a street side window. The room interior is colorless, the bathroom quite small compared to the available space between the beds.
Elevators are slow and undersized for 6 floors of hostel, 3 person per cabin
The bar is well stocked with fair prices, cool activities are ordered. But it will be incredibly full even on a weekday
The breakfast is incredible, well worth the 11€
It’s about 10 mins walk to termini
