YellowSquare Reviews
YellowSquare is more than a hostel; itās an international community designed for travelers who want to connect, work, and hang out. Across our locations in Italy and Greece, we provide female-only dorms, shared dorms, and private ensuite rooms, alongside working spaces and daily activities. Definitely not a boring hostel. From working over a coffee to evening events in our venues, we create a active atmosphere where locals and travelers meet and make friends. Every YellowSquare is a gateway to the city, focused on social vibes and the right place to meet people.
Thanks, it was really nice
It’s my first internationally hostel experience and the bar is set very high. I went with no expectations and a good mind set. Upon my arrival, i got greetly with nothing but good energetic vibes that made my comfort level feel at ease. Im a solo traveller, and ive been used to it for sometime now, but the atmosphere you provide makes the experience more comforting and with your staff it makes it very memorable. It was an amazing experience and im looking forward in coming back. Hold on to them staff. They are unique and priceless š«¶š½
Overall experience is great. Clean, enough space, many facilities and friendly people.
Very nice rooms, lamp, socket and shelf above the bed, own toilet and bathroom, big lockers, own safe for every bed, free pasta every day, free welcome drink, rooftop pool with chairs and bar (I guess in summer), very nice and helpful staff, 15 min to the station. You can also get a second bedsheet as a curtain for your bed.
I had the best time there, the rooms were a little bit little, but everything was compensated because of the people, the bar and the organization.
Without a doubt the most fun hostel Iāve ever been to. As a solo traveler it was easy to make friends with roommates and at the bar downstairs. The events are great fun and the staff creates an environment that is welcoming with games and activities every night. The facilities are also clean and comfortable, with valuables lockers and under-bed lockers for larger items (bring a small padlock). Being located near Termini adds to the experience, as youāre never more than a nice morningās walk or an easy metro away from most attractions in the city, or quick trains to nearby cities. 10/10!
My room was nearby the lift and even as a private one there was not enough sounding isolation, plus the other visitors clearly did not care about making massive noise around 3am or 4am. Despite this clear lack of respect everything else was ok although I did not try the food and drinks being on Lent.
The best hostel place i have ever been to! beds are super comfy, stuff amazing, free welcoming drink and meal, love the people :))
My promo didn’t work at all and the price I paid on site was inconsistent (raised twice). Booked through link from email of you.
had good service, everything was as advertised. met some nice people. lock and towel were very cheap. aula bar was nice too
Friendly people, comfortable bed, great piazzeta, cheap bar good location. Pricey, but the whole of Milan is
Fantastic hostel, good vibes and lots of activities organised by the team! Would 100% recommend this hostel to anyone coming to Florence!! Loved it!
In my experience, the hostel has a welcoming culture. The activities offered, the facilities, and the friendliness of its staff are designed to make you feel comfortable from the beginning. Thank you for your kindness! I will definitely look for you in other cities.
It was a really nice stay at the hostel. We had so much fun. It was really clean and everyone was so friendly.
The staff is super kind and helpful. The hostel is close to termini station which is great cuz termini can get you anywhere! Also the Yellowsquare bar is so much fun and itās across the street so if you wanna have a quick drink (alone as a girl) itās super easy to go there and get back to your hostel safely! They have activities each day I wish I joined for more but I was busy discovering the city with the friends Iāve made during my stay. If I ever find myself staying in Rome again, Iāll be at Yellowsquare for sure!āØā„ļø
Yellowsquare Rome was incredible. Had such a fun time there. The location is perfect, the facilities within the hostel are so easy to use and the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Have already recommended it to friends and will 100% be back.
The rooms were comfortable and the service was very good overall. It’s a hostel, so despite the fact that it offers a lot of activities, I didn’t feel welcome. There aren’t many common areas. People barely interact with each other, and to get to my room, I had to leave the hostel and cross the street. It felt like I was renting an apartment. It might be fine for going with friends, but it wasn’t a great experience alone. The location isn’t bad, but it’s far from the center.
It’s okay, except there are no curtains on the beds so you feel a bit “exposed” and also you need to bring your own lock for the locker in the room. Also in the showers there is no shelf to put any belongings. Everything else absolutely fine and acceptable.
It was an amazing experience staying there, the rooms and beds were clean, the staff could speak well English and we’re super friendly. Also they had events every night which made this stay even more fun!
The place was very well located, the common areas were quite good. Checking in was easy. The rooms were clean and having a semi-private bathroom was good. Being able to have a place to share with friends and other people in the restaurant/pub/game room was what I highlighted most about the experience. The vibes of the place were very good.
everything was clean and the staff was really friendly. There are a lot of events and you have privacy in the common rooms, because you can use extra beddings as curtains. It’s got everything you’d want. But there are a lot of people! The shower in our room had basically no water pressure but the showers an fourth floor were better.
Location is good, but you need 20-25 min to walk into the city centre
Everything was perfect! I’ve stayed in all 3 yellowsquares, and you guys are the best!
great start, fun activities, little bit far from the centre but that okay because it just vibes jou a nice walk around the city. we met so many nice people through the organised games and the club down is also very fun. also the free pasta was great
Iāve had an amazing experience at yellowsquare rome. I was solo traveling for the first time and super scared I wouldnāt be able to make friends but I met so many incredible people as soon as I walked into the reception!
The yellow bar was also super fun and the staff is amazing. I canāt wait to go back!
great, clean hostel! Loved the many community rooms/ chill areas as well as the free pasta!
I had such a great time! All the activities made it very easy to meet other travellers. I can’t wait to go back.
We booked a private room for one night in Florence and had a great time. It was nice to have food and cocktails, and there and lots of space to hang out inside and out. Would definitely go back.
The hostel was very nice everyone was friendly and there were a lot of great things to do. I didn’t come there to meet people this time so we it was a family visit so it was a little much but as a solo traveler it’s super easy to find friends there.
The Hostel was really good but I think the beds should be more isolated so that you have your own Space. There was also a loud sleeper in my room so that was annoying
I was in a dormitory for just 1 night and I have been there for too short time but it was fantastic. I met with new amazing girls: Banu, Ilaria, Cloe. The place is not only to get rest but to get to know new people and experience š.
It was amazing! I loved the people, atmosphere, the room was always clean, we had enough space, the bar is amazing, stuff, everything! Iāll rbe back for sure!
YellowSquare Milano is an exemple of a great hostel : well located 5min walk from a metro station or 30min from the Duomo, rooms are clean and well organised (curtain if requested, locker, individual light and a ledge). Bathroom was also clean, with a little heater for the towels. The night is quite, I did not even have to use earplugs.
Bar/restaurant on ground floor is also a great place, food is good and layout is usefull to work in peace or meet new people. I did not participate to the activities but I know their is something available every night.
Overall, I had a great experience. My room was spacious, and I was lucky to share it with just one other girl. It was clean and conveniently located within a 10ā15 minute walk from the train station. The staff was friendly, and they offered free pasta and drinks every afternoon. The breakfast was also delicious.
The only issue for me was the toilet, which I also reported to the receptionist. Every time we flushed, it made a strange gurgling noise that was so loud and disruptive we couldnāt sleep. I went to reception to have someone check it. But, of course, it was around 11 pm and there was no plumber around. So we asked the bartender. The thing is every time he came to the room, the noise stoppedāso embarrassing! Hahaha. š š Iām pretty sure he thought we were making it up.
The next day, I showed him a video as proof, and I also shared it with the receptionist. I really hope you take action on this because itās seriously disturbing. The room number was 010.
Other than that, everything was great, and I had no other issues. Thank you š
Cheep hostel, but good quality. The sheets were really clean and the ambiance was very nice. I met some very nice people and I had amazing time
Great experience and very nice team.
Juste one problem : noisy people speaking loud lately in the corridors by night… š
