Really Nice and great young people environment
Met the best people at this hostel, so easy to be social and talk to people here and the staff are some of the coolest people I’ve met.
Really great place to stay for a social trip to Rome. Great for solo travelers to meet new people.
Clean hostel, with well planned activities. Stayed in a 4 bed female dorm which was fine, had air conditioning and in suite bathroom. The window could also be opened. Although clean, the bathroom needs better ventilation and the toilet’s water tank makes a lot of noise.
– Location – the hostel is about 50 minutes walking/20 minutes by metro from the central station
– Cleanliness – the dorms are cleaned everyday
– Activities – activities organised for guests
– Kitchen – kitchen has free pasta and cereal and is generally clean
Had an all girls dorm. One girl brought a guy back with her. That was fun. Immediately booked a hotel because I realised I’m just too old for hostel life 😂
The actual hostel was great, the beds were comfortable me and ample locker space. The free dinner was also a nice bonus. However, the pool was closed for a whole day ‘for maintenance’ while I was there which was annoying, because I had only booked this hostel for it. There seemed to be no maintenance happening. There is also space for a curtain to be put on – it would make the rooms that bit better!
I get that it may be fun if you wanna stay for longer but for just a place to sleep it was a bit expensive…
This was my first hostel experience. I will always return to YellowSquare, this was the best experience I ever had. Nice hostel, very clean and neat. The people were super nice. The bar that comes with the hostel is 10/10 to meet new people. The bar is set in the sky for any other hostels now. 🙂
The hostel was very social, everyone was very friendly and I quickly made friends as a solo traveler which was great! The rooftop pool and bar were lovely and the room was nice, amazing vibes. Only thing I’d say is it’s a bit far from the city, but there were regular buses.
I stayed for five days in Florence, and this was a great hostel: the staff’s members are doing their job perfectly and there is nothing to say about the provided services. That’s perfect for me !
If one improvement could be done, it would be concerning the washing of the dishes in the kitchen. Nothing really concerning, but I never found any towel to dry my personal dishes during my stay.
That’s the only thing I could think about : I spent good nights and ate good food in this good hostel, that I absolutely recommend.
This was my first solo international trip and was really conscious about the place where l would live…gladly l got the best place and would recommend everyone who visits Italy. It had the best bedding, bathroom and most importantly the staffs . Cannot wait to be back to the place 😩
It was in a friendly area near a metro stop. Events varied to give everyone something to enjoy. Beds were comfortable but quite squeaky. Shower leaked slightly but was well working. Staff were amazing and friendly
The staff was really nice and helpful, and the rooms were clean and nice.
I stayed for 3 nights and found everything I needed. There’s a bar if you want to be social. The staff are helpful and friendly. The bed was slightly uncomfortable but not bad.

I had a goos staying at the hostel, staff was helpful, food was delicious. Just one detail I would recommend. Toiletts look always clean, but they smell a lot. a deeper cleansing is needed.
Beautiful rooms. But with us the fan did not work, so the humidity was not removed -> mold formation in the whole bathroom. -> absolutely renovate!
Staff helpful, room was clean, bed did feel like it slightly dipped but slept throughout the nights with no issues. Bathroom would sometimes smell – probably due to old building. Breakfast included is a must, my favourite part because it was filling and delicious and would get me to dinner. Room was spacious enough (4 female dorm). Communal areas were all clean.

It’s a good place to stay , is near termini and you can walk from there in 3 minutes to the train station or 1 minute if you take a bus.
This hostel is absolutely fantastic!! The staff are so welcoming and friendly and they ensure you are having the best time at all times! The rooms are always clean and the beds are soo comfy, the lockers and safe in the beds are a great addition to make you feel protected. I unfortunately had to to cut my trip short unexpectedly, but the staff were so helpful at making sure I was safe and had everything I needed, they even helped me print any confirmations I needed. The social elements here are equally brilliant as they have art nights, karaoke and welcome drinks as well as work areas. I can not fault this hostel at all and I can’t wait to return!!! Thank you all for making my trip so special 🥰
The location was really good and convenient. The hostel also provides a range of events and discounts which is really nice. However the room itself was bad. The bathroom door handle fell off on the first tug. The receptionist was nice enough to help with it but this is well below expcetations for such an expensive room. The room had an ensuite bathroom which is good to have but it was so small that it was barely usable. The room itself was also quite small.
As this my first ever hostel experience, the whole place felt very familiar and has set the bar for my expectations for my future hostel stays!
Facilities, amazing. Staff, amazing. BUT the people I met who stayed at the hostel, wonderful, stunning, beautiful souls. Keep up the atmosphere that you create. It allows us to connect with one another from all walks of life, and that is the most important thing you could do whilst travelling.

Just average. Food was great from cafe. Excellent social events organised but some staff were not very friendly. I didn’t feel their enthusiasm.
Yellowsquare team is the most helpfull, open-minded hotel staffe I’ve ever met. Great, wonderful people!
it is a nice place, way too expensive for a night in a dorm though
in opinion so far I really like everything of staff starting with the reception and finishing with the bar. Everyone was giving really nice advice about what to do in Italy and day by day I was familiar with everything that was around me. I really love all the events they start around 6 to 8 all days. I also like the free pastas and nachos with a nice guacamole.
The experience was really great, everyone is so nice! I made friends bc the activities they programmed and the discount on food was my favorite surprise. Love it.
Great hostel in a central, yet quiet, part of Milano. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing we missed was a few hooks to hang some stuff on. Otherwise everything was great 😀

First hostel experience and it did not disappoint!
It was my first time in Rome, and it will be unforgettable thanks to the hostel! Staying in the yellow was my best decision. The location is great, right next to termini, the room was so clean and comfortable(always cool), the activities are fun and involving, the parties are epic, the staff is amazing, and the whole atmosphere is so great, that it makes you don’t want to leave that place, 10/10⭐️
I had a wonderful stay!! Only thing I would wish for would be courtains on the beds for more privacy. Loved my stay!!
I loved this hostel since the beginning when I was wondering go to Rome and I definitely did a good choice! The structure of the hostel, atmosphere, staff, everything was perfect! And one thing is right, when I come back to Rome I’ll stay there again! The location is very strategic, near to Rome Termini Station, then to me was perfect to arrive easily there and go easily for the others place. The bar is a plus of the hostel and the rooms good and clean for a fair prices.
