Friendly staff, good food clean rooms. Good atmosphere for going out on an evening

The staff were very nice, provide free one use voucher to get a free drink. The common area has a good Vibe .. the best about yellow square milan is, its near the metro n other tourist vistting place..

Great. Nice and Big rooms, confortable beds, nice café, clean private bathroom in each dorm. Very hot in the rooms.

Well designed hostel with a nice co-working space, cool people, and good vibes! The facilities are super clean and top-notch. The kitchens are surprisingly spacious. Furthermore, the hostel hosts events that are interesting in themselves. The stand-up offered on Monday nights by the Acappella group is outstanding! The staff are all nice and very helpful. Grazie mille!

I had an amazing stay at yellowstone in Milan! It was my first stay at an hostel and also my first solo trip as a female solo traveller and felt completely safe in this hostel. I stayed in a 4 female “shoebox” room. The room was extremely clean and the girls were all so nice! I had a locker for my valuables and a locker for a trolley, I forget my lock and bought one at the reception for only €2! We also had a balcony that was a really nice surprise. The activities witch where organized where really fun!

Well worth the 77 euros. Quiet floor, super attentive staff, new room (must have been) because the cleanliness beat every hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Even the recycling containers were shiny. Perfect shower (a rarity). Really clean and fluffy towels. AND they fit a queen size bed in a smallish room with no unnecessary furniture crowding things into corners like the 100 euro dumps near Stazione Termini in Rome. No dangerous, wobbly standup closets or dirty chairs taking up space. Plus there was adorable art on the wall. (teardrops). Highly recommended.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They are also very knowledgeable and can direct you to on things to do and where to go; I asked one of the staff on where to go for food and clubs and he directed me to canal naviglio grande location and ended up having a good time at that area. The rooms were very clean and the set-up was as ideal… I also met some great roommates and other people there!

Had a great time here. There is so much available on site from salon, business area, bar and food. I got to meet several, really cool people. My breakfast was great.
The room was clean and secure. Every staff person I interacted with was very friendly and helpful.

Locker can fit a large backpack and a few things tucked around it. Cabin bag/carryon, I had to slip under the bed. 1€ towel was available when I was there. Open WiFi access. It was winter and the room was comfortably warm. There was one bathroom in the room (sink, toilet, shower), shared by up to 6, but a sink was available outside of the bathroom as well.

It was my first time staying in a hostel and i was so hesitant at first but then I loved my experience a lot! Everything was amazing from the activities, food, and ambiance. We had a different activity each day. Reception was open 24h and it felt like a safe environment

A very social atmosphere, conveniently located with friendly staff. The amenities were well maintained and clean. The common area had plenty of boardgames to break the ice with other travellers. Overall, a great stay and would not hesitate to return.

I enjoyed the location and vibrant energy of the hostel. Great for solo travelers and groups.

This is much more like a hotel than hostel, with a communal room that people tend to work/study in rather than be social in. The nights organised often fell a bit flat. Staff were lovely, place was super super clean, and in a great location. My mates and I had a 4 room private but it was so small we couldn’t all stand up at the same time or we couldn’t move around, each bed had a power socket but in 2 of the beds they didn’t work.

Yellowsquare was very clean, everyone was friendly and they do a lot to foster community. each room has a full bathroom to share which is a nice alternative to dorm-style showers.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Very affordable with free breakfast and diner!

Super good place. It is great for cooking also with a lot of free food. Nice chill bar/outdoor area. Very very clean and safe.

We really liked staying in this hostel, it is the first one that we really felt it was worth staying. The location is perfect because you are away from the hustle and bustle and you can walk to the center without any problems, although the subway station is also very close. It is super clean, the food itself (breakfast, lunch, etc.) is delicious, and the atmosphere is super friendly and comfy. I would stay at any YellowSqaure Hostel again.

I am happy I chose to stay at Yellow Square during my one-day visit to Milan. The hostel and facilities were excellent. I did not stay in the room much as I was mainly doing some sightseeing, however, I appreciate having the ensuite bathroom and the overall cleanliness. The staff was very friendly and helpful, too. Excellent experience, thank you!

Private room was really small, but to be expected. Bed was pretty clean, except throw pillows had stains. Bathroom had a mildewy smell and shower had stronger smell with hard water stains on floor that were brown. Towel rack heater didn’t work. Heat generally wouldn’t go above a certain temperature (19 degrees) in my room which caused me to get really sick. No late checkout options, even if desire to pay for a later checkout, so had to be out by 10. Staff came and knocked on door at 9:35 as if to ensure guests would be out by 10, which I thought was annoying. People at the bar and reception were nice, but overall, I didn’t really enjoy my stay this time. So many guests co-working in the main areas coughing without masks or anything so that also contributes to spread of germs. Would not stay again this time of year.

Thank you for the amazing stay I had at Yellowsquare! The place is really close to the metro station and its atmosphere is beautiful! I was able to made some friends there that were really kind and funny. I’ll be back for sure 🙂

Absolutely brilliant, clean, friendly, fun, good value.

My stay was very good with plenty of activities and social opportunities. The hostel dorms were great but it’d be cool if there were curtains or dividers for the beds. It was disappointing that there were no facilities to wash clothes like it said on Hostelworld. They instead gave an address for a cash only place 10 minutes away. Everything else about the hostel was amazing.

I had a layover in Milan and returned to this hostel for a second time (I previously stayed here last year for a few days) and am glad I chose to stay here again even though it was far from the airport. The room was very clean and comfy, the food in the restaurant was great, the art night was enjoyable and the atmosphere was nice!

Yellow Square is a very social place and that’s the number one thing for me while choosing a hostel. Always something is going on. Will be back again for sure!

I stayed in a 4 bedroom female dorm. There were enough security amenities for me to feel my belongings were safe. However, there was not enough stowage/surfaces to allow for an organized space. Would have liked to see more drawers/organization tools. Furthermore, the cleaning regime wasn’t very clear, and there was no hand towel included, which would have been nice.
But in conclusion, the staff was always helpful, the concept is very fun and the facilities were pleasant enough.

The place, location, staff, events, all of it was great. I hope to come back to Milan soon, and yellosquare will be my first choice to stay. Truly a great place to have spent my first time in Milan

I had a great time. I stayed in a female dorm and met some really lovely people at the place. I had booked the breakfast too before arriving and I’m glad I did.

My while thermal shirt was surprisingly disappeared from the room, complained but no solution!!
