YellowSquare is more than a hostel; it’s an international community designed for travelers who want to connect, work, and hang out. Across our locations in Italy and Greece, we provide female-only dorms, shared dorms, and private ensuite rooms, alongside working spaces and daily activities. Definitely not a boring hostel. From working over a coffee to evening events in our venues, we create a active atmosphere where locals and travelers meet and make friends. Yellow square was a really lovely hostel! It was easy to make friends:) I got a tattoo there at their tattoo shop and spent a lot of time in yellow bar too. The free pasta was helpful also đź©· I really enjoyed my time there and would definitely recommend it xx
Yellowsquare was well located, clean and social. The staff were lovely and the perks were amazing, such as free pasta, 20% off drinks and good deals during happy hour. There was multiple events per day which was great for when we weren’t too sure what to do. The only issue I had was with the showers, which had very poor water pressure and bad heat controls. Other than that, al was amazing.
I haven’t stayed in a hostel in years, but i might need to start considering it again… or at least plan my trips around yellowsquare locations. The staff has been EXCELLENT, they’re really there to be helpful and it shows. The rooms are clean and the beds super comfortable. The food was also excellent! I really appreciated how the kitchen was flexible with dietary needs and everything was so fresh. 10…/10 will be back here again 🙏💜
I liked it here, even if I didn’t spend so much of my time at the hostel because I was out exploring the city.
The beds were pretty comfortable for me and I got along pretty well with my roommates.
The bathrooms had everything I needed: shower gel, hot water and I could also rent a towel which was pretty cheap.
I didn’t really had the time to check all the social events, but I liked the ones that I participated in.
The drinks at the bar were pretty pricey for me, but it wasn’t such a big problem for me since I’m not really into alcohol. However, I liked the atmosphere in the bar and the free pasta.
They “upgraded” me to a ensuite dorm room, which i didnt want. There was black mold growing in the shower, thankfully have a fan but the fan was covered in dust and lint, it didnt look like they ever tried to scrub a shower. I checked the other bathrooms on the first floor and all had black mold growing in the wall and bottom of the corners the showers. Dont recommend this place if you dont want to sick..

Very nice activities and also the location is very good near a subway station. The rooms have also good lockers and curtains at the bed so you have privacy.
Very good location, excellent water pressure, beds were great and the roof top bar and view of the Parthenon were the HIGHLIGHT of this hostel / hotel. Stellar authentic Greek food 100 yards away. Do not pass this up. What a great place to enjoy Athens!
Amazing hostel & perfect location . Of course i will try it again . They have a roof top with perfect view over acropolis
I stayed in an all-female room for six people and was very pleased with the room’s modern furnishings, the fact that it had its own bathroom, and that both areas were clean overall.
The location was great. A five minute walk to the nearest the Metro station, so it wa svery easy to get to the city centre. The rooms were very clean and had a nice view. Bathroom was cleaned everyday. The beds were very clean and the curtains provided privacy.
I had the opportunity to stay 15 days at the Florence Hostel. It was the best experience! The staff were amazing! The event planning! My room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this Hostel
The room was lovely and well done for the price point, the staff were impeccable. But what really sets this place apart is its location and the roof top view of the Acropolis. Very good drinks great vibes and made for a perfect evening
The rooms were very nice and well kept. There were also fun events every night i stayed and i met so many fun and amazing people because of them! I wish i was able to stay much longer because i was genuinely having such a fun time. The staff made the experience so much fun too, they were so nice, helpful and attentive. Absolutely enjoyed my time there, and im so thankful i found yellowsquare for my time in Milan! 🙂
Everything was great, except some of the baristas are not that nice, and my kindle got stolen.
This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Everybody – staff, volunteers and other guests are incredibly friendly. It’s so easy to meet new people, especially through the events that happen daily. Highlights are also the rooftop pool and the daily free pasta.
The hostel we stayed in, felt very safe and the common areas were fun and inviting. The free dinner during our first night of our day was great and I will be coming back! Would recommend to anyone.
The room is neat, the workers are really nice and respectful ( even cleaner)

I really enjoyed my short stay at the hostel, the view of the rooftop bar is amazing. The room was clean, the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. The thing I could think for improving is the location (which it is a bit hard to improve). During the day it was okay to walk around, but at night and by myself (woman) I felt a bit unsafe. I’d say I had to walk around 2/3 minutes before I was in a place I felt a bit safer.
The privacy bunks were great. the onsuite bathrooms were pretty dirty as well as the inside of the dorm windows.
There are no rules about the air conditioning being on but when a cleaner came in to me having it on while being the only one in the room she aggressively turned it off and opened the window to let in the hot roma weather.
The laundry mat was also rancid.
Also the hostel bar let in some outsiders which some of them were creepy and praying on many of the girls there, would be a better experience if that could be more of a limited hostel experience.
Rooms stayed clean and bathrooms. Roof top was awesome. Maybe a little more youth hoses I hade some older people and felt a little weird.
A good hostel for the price, lot of activities , good staff
This is pretty much an ideal hostel to stay in — extremely central location, great staff, and a restaurant/bar attached to it (with limited free dinner!). The bed in my dorm was comfortable and had plenty of storage to keep my valuables in.
I had a nice stay at Yellowsquare and meet so many nice people. The bar is good and the rooms are big too. The only thimg I really didn’t enjoy was the bathroom in my room. It was flooded all the time and the stuff didn’t really care about that problem. Also it was pretty small.
The hostel seemed to be very well located in Milan, i loved how the common room were and all the activities proposed.
I finally made it to the YellowSquare after a long trip, and the place looked great and well-equipped. When I checked in, they claimed they upgraded me to a 4-bed room, even though I was pretty sure I’d booked that from the start. It was boiling hot in Rome, so I was showering at least twice a day just to stay fresh. My first time in the shower, the drain was clogged and it immediately overflowed, flooding the bathroom and even my bedroom. When I talked to my roommates, they said they were having the same problem. I went to the reception three or four times to complain, but they just kept brushing me off, saying the cleaning staff would handle it tomorrow. This went on for my entire trip. They didn’t actually fix the drain until my very last day after three and a half days of me asking. Other than that, everything was fine, but the bathroom issue was a huge problem because it felt really unhygienic and gross.
The hostel staff was very nice, rooms were clean and all things necessary were provided. Also most important thing water was free. The water seems to be a trivial thing, but having to pay for water in hostel is a cost that accumulates overtime. The kitchen has all the utensils and items that you can make. Overall I loved the Rome Yellow square Hostel. One of the best.
I was staying in a room shared with staff members of the hostel, they didn’t seem kind and made our room feel unwelcoming. The toilet had a very unpleasant smell. Although the staff were kind and the overall vibe other than that was nice

A fantastic hostel for anyone travelling. Social scene is great with the rooftop bar and activity each night. If you want to chill, that is fine. Decent breakfast. Each bed has its own safe and an area to put some belongings which I find helpful. One bathroom per room is brilliant. Overall very good
First of all, the hostel itself was great. They offer luggage storage, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and they even upgraded my room, which I really appreciated. The rooftop also has a beautiful view of the Acropolis at night — absolutely gorgeous.
However, unfortunately, I had a really unpleasant experience during the night. One of the roommates seemed to have brought someone into the dorm. They were talking very loudly on the balcony in the middle of the night, apparently thinking that nobody inside could hear them. Talking loudly was already disturbing enough, but then they started having sex and making a lot of noise. It was already past 3 a.m., yet they continued without any consideration for the other guests who were trying to sleep. They even came back into the dorm and continued there.
Honestly, I found this extremely disrespectful and inconsiderate. If you want to do something private, please book a private room instead of doing it in a shared dorm and disturbing everyone else.

Very clean and affordable hostel with loads of social space. Kitchen could really do with a few more bits (there were very few spoons, no bowls etc and some smelly moldy food left).
Unbelievable experience. Everyone was so kind, fun, and accommodating. Truly made me feel welcomed in my first hostel.
This was the first hostel I’ve stayed in and I had a really good experience. The hostel is really well set up and organised and the staff are lovely! It’s in a great location near the main train station. I would definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at YellowSquare Hostel Milano. The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the hostel was clean and comfortable. I especially liked the social atmosphere and the location, which made it easy to explore Milan. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other travelers!
