From working over a coffee to evening events in our venues, we create a active atmosphere where locals and travelers meet and make friends. It is purely my favorite hostel
I highly recommend for travellers, the staff were very helpful. They tried to arrange activities to encourage other backpackers to get to know each other. Good menu options for breakfast and food throughout the day.

I stay for 2 nights in the hostel. All super good.
Really enjoyable night. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I did get told I was too old for a dorm though đ¤Ł. No problem as I upgraded to a private room with a bathroom still reasonably priced. Will definitely stay again but when it’s a bit busier so I can really make use of the top bar. Thanks YellowSquare staff đ

The hostel is very good located. I was in a dorm form women, which I was really happy about. I stayed 5 nights and met incredible people! The hostel organizes events daily, which were very fun! But as in any hostel, don’t forget your earplugs and sleeping mask in case you want to sleep in.

Traveling solo as a middle-age woman from the United States for the first time in Europe. And first time staying in a hostel, my experience here could not have been better. Not only was the staff welcoming and helpful, but I felt very safe. The location was perfect. There was a bar across the street with events., a Metro and a bus stop just around the corner , many restaurants that I could walk to in very close to the train terminal. I had no issues with anyone trying to pickpocket me, even walking on the street at night. I recommend this hostel to anyone.
Such a fun hostel with enough to keep you around on their premises. They have a very good bar and restaurant, a community kitchen where you can cook your meals or even hang out with people and their own events area. They had a very fun karaoke night on one of the days that we were there and the atmosphere was electric!
The rooms were really clean and the bathroom was well-maintained. However, the 4-bed private room that we booked was quite small. Barely any space to open up 2 suitcases on the floor and move around. But didn’t matter too much since we only used the room to get ready for the day and then sleep at the end.

Weâve stayed at the Yellowsquare hostel for a week and it was great. Everyone behind the reception and bar is really kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and new, and even soap en shampoo were provided. The zero bar was a nice place to have a drink and meet new people, or to grab a quick bite. Moreover, the location of the hostel is great. All around are great bars, restaurants and itâs next door to the market hall.
The overall experience was really good.
I had a great experience at the hostel- met some wonderful people. The hostel stall was also very kind, helpful and supportive to tourists đ Would 100% recommended
I like your atmosphere and hospitality
Worst part was definitely the location (unsafe at night). Other than that, some details like: the beds did not have curtains for privacy (had to improvise with a blanket), and furniture looked a bit old. My towel was stained, so cleanliness was also a concern. The staff was fairly helpful though, so grateful for that.
I liked the cleanliness and the vibes. The 2016 theme party was fun.
I want to mention Giovanni from the reception- he was very sweet and kind and he has a great vibe!
Had a good time at YellowSquare Athens, room was spacious , had all the amenities. Location was close to the center, which is important as a traveler.
Would come again for sure!!
When I caught a cold ,the front desk staff treated me with great kindness and care.
They even escorted the visiting doctor to my room, which was extremely helpful. truly appreciate their support and attentiveness.
The complimentary pasta was also delicious, and the events looked very enjoyable. Next time stay, I would love to take part in one of the events. Thank you very much.
If youâre a solo backpacker wondering âWill I actually meet people here?â â the answer is YES, and Moe and Markos are a huge reason why.
Moe at reception is an absolute legend. He runs the front desk like a pro, even when itâs packed with arrivals, questions, and chaos. Heâs amazing with people, keeps the vibe friendly and organized, and somehow remembers everything and everyone. Need tips, help, directions, or just a friendly face after a long travel day? Moeâs got you. He makes you feel welcome from the second you walk in â which is huge when youâre traveling alone.
And then thereâs Markos behind the bar⌠wow. Not your average hostel bartender at all. This guy seriously knows his mixology and makes some of the best cocktails Iâve had on the road. The bar instantly becomes the social hub thanks to him â great drinks, great energy, and the perfect place to meet other travelers without it feeling forced or awkward.
Because of Moe and Markos, this hostel feels less like a place to sleep and more like a little community. If youâre backpacking solo and want good vibes, good people, and unforgettable nights, this place delivers. Would 100% stay here again.
Very great place, very lively, clearly popular. The reception staff is super friendly and helpful. The cafe at the entrance is very crowded with people working, playing board games, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Quite cozy as well. The bed was good, the room fairly silent (but then again, I am a heavy sleeper), bathroom and everything was clean and practical.
I had a great stay at YellowSquare Florence and really enjoyed the overall experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, lively, and international, making it perfect for both solo travelers and groups.
The staff is friendly, helpful, and always available, making you feel comfortable from the very beginning.
The location is also excellent, allowing you to explore Florence easily and stress-free.
Overall, a very positive experience. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality hostel with a great vibe.
Party everyday at the bar, it was my 10th hostel of my 6 weeks eurotrip and Yellowsquare was by far the best.
Amazing vibe, very social, even on monday you had the chance to dance at the bar.

Itâs a great hostel with many people. The staff is all really nice and helpful. Itâs clean and thereâs a bunch of activities everyday. The cafe/bar across the street is also very nice. The location is okay. Close to the train station but a bit far from all major touristic attractions (all 30 min. + walk). The only downside for me was the check in/out time. Very early check out (10 am) and very late check in (3 pm). The gap in between could be shorter (ex. 11-3).

IT WAS A TRULY FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE. ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE A SOLO TRAVELER, THIS PLACE SHOULD BE AT THE TOP OF YOUR LIST. Because they make you feel like you belong to the city within hours of arriving. I’m sorry I missed the complimentary pasta. But thank you so much for the complimentary wine. The cleanliness, the attention, and the hostel activities were fantastic.
I had a very nice and impressive experience in Florence, the room is very big and clean, the food is also not bad, and i have made a friend with my roommate, which I think a really pleasure.
Overall, my stay at YellowSquare Rome was fine but nothing special. The hostel is clean and the staff are friendly, but the dorm beds donât have curtains, which for me is a big downside. The atmosphere is very social, but at times it felt a bit forced, like the hostel is trying too hard to create a party vibe. The location is also a bit far from the historic centre, which became annoying when going back and forth. If youâre mainly looking to meet people and donât mind less privacy or extra walking/transport, it could work, but it wasnât quite my style.

I travelled with a friend. Our room was clean, and cleaned every day.
We received welcome drinks at the beautiful bar with view of the acropolis
And they have free interesting events happening all week to get to know people!
staff/volunteers there were super nice and we had great conversations with them.
Only downside is its in a slightly dodgy area, and the kitchen was a bit dirty when I used it
The property was very clean. Was not too loud at night and had great promotions at the bar/restaurant across the street. Very welcoming staff. My only complaint is the fee to purchase a bath towel. Considering I stayed in a private room, I wished I would have been provided with 1 or 2 complimentary bath towels.
A great experience overall !
The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable however the walls are a bit thin, you can hear everything that is happening in the corridor.

It has a beautiful view, and all the staff are extremely friendly and efficient, not to mention the unbeatable location, which is very central and close to all the tourist attractions.
It was great isual impaired and staff stepped up if had any questions about money or directions anything at all ND th pasta was great
Through the most one of my very hard times in life, this place was my warmest spot, where I felt welcomed and safe.
I enjoyed my morning coffee, the lovely staff.
