Yellowsquare Reviews
Good hostel, with events for bookers, clean sheets, clean matresses, I recommend it
Great modern hostel within walking distance of the train station and the city center. I would especially like to note that the hostel is kept clean and tidy. There is safe access to the rooms and kitchen using an electronic key. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and even some free products. Every day there are some entertainment events and in general there is a cheerful atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The girl from Poland who checked me in immediately cheered me up. It was amazing. My room (111) was on the 1st floor. On the one hand, this is very convenient. On the other hand, the music from the club downstairs was audible. But I always used earplugs, so I could sleep. The blanket was very thin. I folded it in half and I did not feel cold. But for a tall person, a folded blanket would be short. There is a safe next to each bed. There are lockers in the room for a backpack or suitcase. But to lock the locker you need a padlock (I had my own). It is a pity that I did not try the free pasta, as I did not understand how I could do this. It is very convenient that the hostel has a bar. The only drawback is that there was no hot water in the hygienic shower in the toilet. I told the cleaning lady about it and she promised to pass my question to the reception, but hot water did not appear. Overall, the impressions of the hostel are positive. I would recommend it to all travelers.
Enjoy my stay. Spent one night there and would definitely comeback whenever I’m in Rome. The bedsheet and bath was clean and the staffs were all welcoming and helpful.
The location is also perfect(close to the train station).
Helpful, fun place to stay. Definitely recommended
This place is a great summary of a usual Roman tourist experience: great people, but ridiculously over-priced place. The staff is great and very helpful. The facilities offered by the hostel are unique in the surrounding: restaurant and pub, co-working space, lockers, daily events, kitchen, etc. However, the old building is inadequate to host guests, like elsewhere in the city. First, there is no adequate air circulation system in the room. The air gets so stinky that I felt sick for a couple of nights. This is an issue in dorms, because some people may have more cold than others, preventing to open the windows. Second, there are no sound-proof walls and windows. This is ridiculous for a dormitory, especially with a disco-pub in the ground-floor! For 70€/night in a shared room with 4 strangers, I DO expect a better quality.
Atmosphère Nice, customer service attentive
This hostel was so modern and beautiful. The overall atmosphere was so chilled, everything had been thought of so we had a great time staying here.
Place was very good as I expected, bed really comfortable and clean
Friendly soaces, lot of things to do. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Gentle staff.
Everybode was kind and tried to help me.

For Firenze competitive drink prices 😇.
Divers bathrooms 🌈
Well organized.
I stayed two nights at Yellowsquare in Florence. It was a chilly November evening in Italy, and the blankets provided were extremely thin, almost like a sheet of paper. I woke up several times the first night because of the cold. The next morning, I requested an extra blanket at the front desk, but it was still very cold. Unsurprisingly, I caught a cold on the day I left Florence, which affected my travel in Rome as I felt unwell. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t choose Yellowsquare again.
loved this hostel! favourite one i have stayed in so far. the beds were super private, lockers were a really good size and it was super clean. the atmosphere was great with the bar and the club downstairs. had a great party on halloween. only issues were trying to use the luggage storage at check out as there is only one machine and it took a very long time to get through the line and that there were only 2 washers/dryers for such a big hostel. other than that i absolutely loved it!
Very comfortable to stay in a 6 female dorm. The bed can be private if you use your towel or bedsheets as a curtain. And the hight of the lower bunker bed is enough to sit on the bed. I could feel I was in my own space.
Very clean in dorm, bathroom, kitchen and common spaces.
The staffs are very kind and helpful. Location is very good to access to major tourist sites by metro or bus.
The impressive things are event programs they organize every different day for guests. Even they provide a welcoming pasta and drink for free.
Hopefully any other guests can enjoy the hospitality and fun vibe in YellowSquare Rome, too.
