YellowSquare is more than a hostel; it’s an international community designed for travelers who want to connect, work, and hang out. Across our locations in Italy and Greece, we provide female-only dorms, shared dorms, and private ensuite rooms, alongside working spaces and daily activities. Definitely not a boring hostel. From working over a coffee to evening events in our venues, we create a active atmosphere where locals and travelers meet and make friends. Every YellowSquare is a gateway to the city, focused on social vibes and the right place to meet people.
Everything was perfect during my stay.Additionally,they have free luggage storage,1 free beverage,the terrace view is amazing-directly acropolis view.
This hostel was clean, spacious, and welcoming. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the free, engaging events made my experience even more wonderful!
The building itself was nice and spacious, modern with many facilities, and the rooftop had a lovely and relaxed vibe. The location was great, well-connected, and I didn’t have to take any public transport as everything was within walking distance.
The room was bright and clean, and it exceeded my expectations. The offer of toiletries and towels was a plus (it doesn’t happen often).
The food was excellent, I was happy to have my breakfast included cuz it was a perfect way to start the day.

I accidentally booked the wrong date for my stay, and unfortunately the reservation was non-refundable. Even though it was my mistake, the staff showed great understanding and kindness. They took the time to look into the situation and decided to offer me a refund, which I truly appreciated.
It meant a lot to see such flexibility and care for guests. Situations like this show how much a place values people, not just policies. Thank you again for your understanding and professionalism.

The Indian man working at the bar was very rude.
We stayed in a private room with two beds and it was really great. Colours were less vibrant than in the pictures but it wasn’t too different. The ensuite bathroom was good, especially the huge sinks.
All the commodities and staffs are perfect.
Receptionists and cleaners are friendly. The room was well cleaned every day.

Really lovely hostel, with great benefits (welcome drink, rooftop bar, discounted drinks, activities, great location). The only downside was the noise really.
I spent two weeks in Athens working remotely and had a really great experience. This was absolutely the right location for me. The property was very clean, the amenities were excellent, and everything felt thoughtfully designed for longer stays. I truly had a wonderful time and would 10/10 recommend this place — it was so worth it.
The hostel’s location is perfect. It’s right in front of the tram and a few stations away from the center. The staff were helpful & very quick to explain everything to me. The rooms were very clean, as well as the bathrooms. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel welcome. Would definitely recommend!!!
Rooms are fine. And the bathroom is very clean and good. Staff is realy nice. Location is easy to find. After leaving here, I had to spend one night at a hostel in Naples, and that’s when I realized once again how nice this place really is. I would definitely recommend it to everyone
For the price, I kinda expected more. The breakfast was overpriced. Overall, it was fine. Nothing special.
Yellow square is really nicely located. Staff are easy and very professional. Welcome drinks and free pasta is just the tip of the ice burg 🙂 thank you very much!
I really like this hostel because it was really comfy. It’s really near from the center of the city and also they really like you to feel in home so the rooms are clean and there’s many people to meet in this hostel so very recommended.
We wanted to share one important note from our stay.
There was a “Free Palestine” sticker on the laptop at reception. Seeing it made us feel very uncomfortable and honestly unwelcome. Even if the intention is good, political messages in a shared hospitality space can make guests feel uneasy.
We are people who believe deeply in peace and humanity for everyone, and we sincerely hope the war ends soon and all suffering stops. For that reason, we kindly ask you to keep public guest areas neutral so all guests can feel comfortable.

Except the toilet floor flooded with water problem in the first time and they fixed it the next day very quick, everything is perfect. Nice and helpful staff! I kind of need to stay one night at my friend’s place but don’t want to check out one night before so the staff agree to let me keep the room card if I’m not going back to check out, which is so considerate and quite a relief for my travel schedule. Thank you again.!
The reception was super friendly, helpful, and zero language barrier. Everything was super clean and I had 0 problems
I find here a lovely place. Also, the staff members were really nice, especially Stamm.
The bedrooms were well-equipped. The hostel is also very well located near to the subway station.
For me the best was the free pasta hour. lovely to eat realy and home-cooked pasta.
The bar staff was also nice and friendly all of them.
I liked the activities there. were interesting and fun!!1

Good hostel with good vibes in a central location
It was a very nice location. The only downside was no curtains but everyone just hung their towels up and it was fine. It did get a bit loud outside at night but wasn’t anything that kept me awake. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.
Cute place and clean. But I booked less than 24 hours after my travelling companion and got charged about 50% more for a lower category (no attached bathroom) room which we thought was a little extreme as both of us booked directly via the website during low season (February). Other than that we had a good stay.
We have just stayed 3 nights in February and couldn’t fault it. Beds were super comfy, rooms were nice and dark at night, the beds did have curtains on them for privacy which i thought they wouldnt have when first researching the place. The pub/restaurant that they own across the road was very reasonably priced, was getting morning espressos for about 1 euro. All staff were friendly and helpful
Stayed at Yellowsquare for my first solo trip and it was amazing! I arrived in the middle of the night and check in was super easy, the room was great, I felt super safe, and the Yellow Bar was a great place to meet people! I would definitely recommend to any other solo travelers. Also, the day I checked out, I was able to leave my bag in a locker all day for just $0.50!
I am very satisfied with my experience at Yellowsquare Athens. The hostel is clean and organized, the staff is well-trained and helpful, the events had a nice vibe that kept you going and I really enjoyed the shared spaces, especially the co-working floor and the large kitchen.
Well located hostel, very friendly staff, clean building, private room for 2 people had everything it needed.
The room was fine, but it was extremely hot and the ac did not work.
Staying at YellowSquare Roma was a great experience. The dorm was clean, and the common areas were comfortable and great for meeting fellow travelers. The bar associated with the hostel was also a lot of fun and I appreciated that people staying at the hostel got discounts on drinks.
I noticed you put curtains for bunk beds finally! Bravo👏
I had a fantastic stay at this hostel in Athens! The location was perfect — close to the main attractions, restaurants, and public transport, which made exploring the city super easy.

I loved the vibe of the hostel, the music in the reception, the staff members, the cleanliness, the food and the activities, the drinks. I wish I’d have stayed longer actually, but I already plan another Florence trip in the future and I’m probably going to choose yellow square again, but also probably in Rome and other cities.
Clean bedrooms, easy checkin, comfortable bed, nice café and bar at reception, many activities, convenient kitchen. Staff available and helpful. Price was reasonable given the winter Olympic time.
This was a great stay with lovely staff and a super sociable environment. Made a bunch of great friends! Would recommend
