What You’ll Be Doing:

- Host cooking classes for our international guests, who visit Italy eager to immerse themselves in Italian culture and cuisine. These classes focus on teaching them how to prepare homemade pasta from scratch. The sessions will be conducted in English to ensure everyone can fully enjoy and participate in the experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Culinary Skills: Good understanding of international cuisines.
- Independence Under Pressure: You thrive in high-intensity kitchens and can manage tasks autonomously.
- Flexibility: Available to work Monday to Sunday, 7:30 AM to 12:00 AM (non-split shifts, 5 or 6 days per week).
- Experience: Previous work in busy, professional kitchens.

Cosa farai
Come Event & Activities Coordinator dovrai curare la nostra programmazione eventi. Il tuo compito sarà da un lato creare attività per animare le aree comuni dell’ostello per far socializzare gli ospiti e i locals, e dall’altro programmare e supervisionare gli eventi del Club Salone14 come party, stand-up, karaoke, dj-set, quiz night e tanto altro.
Sarai il punto di contatto tra il team interno, i partner esterni e l’ufficio Marketing & Communication. Cerchiamo qualcuno con energia, idee e voglia di mettersi in gioco.
Responsabilità
- Coordinare e pianificare eventi e attività settimanali per YellowSquare Milano
- Ideare nuove attività creative, sociali e culturali per ospiti internazionali
- Gestire la promozione degli eventi sui social media
- Proporre e organizzare serate con band, DJ, stand-up comedy, giochi, workshop, ecc.
- Curare i rapporti artistici ed economici con performer e fornitori

Requisiti
- Esperienza nell’organizzazione eventi o nel settore dell’intrattenimento

Who are we looking for?
We need a proactive, hands-on hospitality professional who knows how to balance people, process, and performance. You’ll be the operational go-to person when the Square Lover isn’t around—and their trusted partner when they are.
You should have:
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality, with at least 2 in a supervisory or assistant manager role
- Strong team coordination and communication skills
- Fluency in English & Greek (Italian is a plus!)
- A knack for problem-solving and staying cool under pressure
- A people-first mindset with an eye for guest experience and team wellbeing
- Comfort with digital tools, booking systems, and hospitality tech

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Internship Program

Our internship program offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic, international environment like our hostels. It’s a hands-on learning experience that provides both theoretical and practical training in various fields related to hospitality, including accommodation, F&B, tours, marketing, and event/social activity management. All of this takes place in a fun and vibrant setting, where you’ll engage with people from all over the world.
Selected interns become a part of our teams, and we’re excited to exchange knowledge and hospitality for your energy and fresh ideas.
Internship conditions:
- The internship lasts a minimum of 6 weeks.
- You must have an EU passport or a valid tourist visa and the Italian Tax Code (if you don’t have the Tax Code/Codice Fiscale, we can assist you in obtaining it. However, please be aware that the process takes time and doesn’t depend on us)
- The training program consists of approximately 32 hours per week, with at least 2 days off to allow participants to relax or explore the beauty of Italy.

Present your artistic collaboration proposal with the hostel, and if it gets accepted, you’ll be able to stay with us free of charge.
The program is designed for traveling artists (such as photographers, musicians, videographers, illustrators) who have the desire and opportunity to share their skills while they are on the road. Remember to present your abilities, but most importantly, propose how these skills can be incorporated into our Squares, accompanied by videos and photos. There are no limits or restrictions, but we require you to submit your ideas at least 3 weeks in advance. This way we can arrange everything for your arrival so we can bring an awesome project to life.
