Animals are welcome in the bar. However, they are not allowed in the property.

Yep 🙂 you will find a hairdryer in every bathroom and a dispenser with shampoo and soap.

The single private room only accommodates one person. They are smaller than the double rooms, so our license for them only allows us to check in one person in the single room. If you are in 2, look for the Double Private Room – Private room for 2 with 1 double bed.

Only if you have PayPal by choosing other payment options, but you will be required a credit card upon arrival as guarantee.

Our reception is open 24/7 you can check in at any time after 3PM of your arrival day. Just keep in mind, we will keep reservations active until 4AM (next morning) before marking it as a No-Show. If you arrive after 4AM (next morning), please let us know in advance so we can keep your reservation active.

No, an invoice can be issued after the payment of the booking and the check in are done.

The declaration of presence can be requested upon arrival at the reception after the check in.

Unfortunately we don’t organize mail pick-ups so that’s something you have to arrange it yourself, but we’re always here to help you.

We can’t guarantee in advance it will be possible because it depends on the availability at YellowSquare, but we will do our best to put you in the same room if you booked the same dorm type.

We DO NOT have bed curtains however we provide an extra sheet for free to be used as a curtain. Guests will have to ask for it at Reception.

No. Please bring your own padlock to lock your cage or locker. If you do not have one, you can purchase one at reception. The price is €2 (padlock only).

No, YellowSquare is a smoke-free establishment. The only places where you are allowed to smoke are the outdoor designated smoking areas.

Of course, all of our rooms have air conditioning 🙂

Yes, you can borrow one for free at reception (you will need to leave your passport/ID with us while you use it)

No, we only send reservation confirmation emails

At the moment we don’t organize private shuttles. However, we can give you some instructions to get from the airport to YellowSquare 😉

At YellowSquare linens are always included. Towels are included in private rooms, while for dorms you can bring your own or rent them at reception.

If you rent them, you will also receive a Welcome Pack with the towels and a tote bag you can keep for €1. You only pay the first time, and you can request a change anytime during your stay.

Nope, YellowSquare doesn’t have a curfew, but please be respectful to other guests. Feel free to party at our Bar 🙂

No it doesn’t.

Yes! YellowSquare offers great tours and activities every day. You can check them in our webpage yellowsquare.com or Instagram profile.

Early check-in is not possible, however you might always ask upon arrival if the room is ready before 3PM (CET), and we will let you know. We are open 24/7 so feel free to stop by to relax in our common areas, and leave your luggage for free in our deposit until you can check in.

They are big enough for one normal wheeled suitcase (trolley) the ones that enter in the airplane cabin.

If you booked a private room you will definitely all be in the same room.
Example: 4 friends who book a quadruple room.

If you booked beds in a dorm we cannot guarantee that you will be in the same dorm room.
Example: 4 friends who book 4 beds in a 6 mixed dorm.

We always go out of our way to keep all members of a group in the same room.

To modify or cancel a reservation at YellowSquare simply send us an email to questions@yellowsquare.com
Please include your reservation number along with a short description of what you’d like us to do for you, and we will process your request as soon as possible.

NOTE: If you booked through Booking.com or Hostelworld and wish to cancel or modify your reservation, you must do it on their website.

Usually confirmation emails take about 15 minutes to be received, but if you haven’t received it after this time frame send us your full name and check-in day, and we’ll check your booking for you 🙂

You can change your credit card used as a guarantee upon arrival at reception.

You can choose to add breakfast to your reservation when booking. In case you don’t want to include it in your reservation, you can still check out our Bar: it offers many delicious breakfast choices, such as the basic coffee + croissant, scrambled eggs, yogurt with muesli, and many others.

Please, note that we only accommodate in the dorms guests between the ages of 18 and 45.

  • People aged 16 and under cannot stay with us.
  • Guests aged 17 must be accompanied by another guest aged 18 or older and have written permission from a parent or legal guardian and must stay in a private room.
  • Guests older than 45 years old must also stay in a private room.

YellowSquare itself is not loud, but our bar area can become quite busy in the evening, especially when we have live music, DJ set or other events.

At YellowSquare check-in begins at 3PM
and check-out is at 10AM for dorms, and at 11AM for private rooms.

The Economy rate is a pre-paid non-refundable rate. It means you pay online at the moment of your booking with a Credit Card.

This rate is non-refundable. No refund/modifications are allowed.

In case of No-Show by 4:00 am of the day after the arrival date, the reservation will be considered cancelled and the payment will be converted in a penalty

The flexible rate allows the payment on arrival, but a valid credit card is needed to secure the booking.

Free Cancellation is possible until 24 hours before 00.00 (CET) of the arrival day. In case of late cancellation or No-show, the first night will be charged.

In order to verify the validity of the credit card, a pre-authorization for the entire amount will be charged on your credit card several days prior to your arrival.

An ensuite room is simply a room that has a shower and toilet located within the room.

Alcohol is NOT allowed in YellowSquare facilities, if caught there could be penalties.

Please be aware that in all licensed bars, it is forbidden to bring externally bought alcohol inside.

We only accept original documents (NO PHOTOCOPIES):

All passports
Identification cards or Driving licence for EU and EEA residents
Military IDs.
*EEA Countries (All the 27 members of the European Union plus Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino).

We accept cash (Euro only), debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express) and PayPal, you can find this by clicking on the other payment options as a guarantee method, and you will be redirected to PayPal when clicking “Create Booking”.

The kitchen has a restricted access, opening early morning around 7:30AM after the cleaners have sanitized everything, up until 11PM for you to get creative and become a chef.

  • Reservations made with a FLEXIBLE rate can be modified or cancelled until 24 hours before midnight of the arrival day, via email. You can send your request to questions@yellowsquare.com before the policy expires.

 

  • We DO NOT accept cancellations via phone nor WhatsApp.

 

  • Reservations made with the ECONOMY rate, can be cancelled, but the payment will be converted into a penalty.

 

  • If you’ve booked through an OTA (Booking.com, Hostelworld, …) you have to cancel your reservation on their website, depending on their conditions/policies.

The 4 mix ensuite dorm is a bed in a shared dorm (with other guests).
The quadruple private room includes 4 beds in the same room. If you want to be sure to be all together in the same room, we suggest booking the Quadruple private room.

At YellowSquare we are here to make your stay as comfortable as possible, for this reason our reception is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

The YellowSquare staff members speak English and Italian. A few staff members speak Spanish, Portuguese, and French.
