Midway upon the journey of our life, I found myself in YellowSquare Florence! But don't worry about losing your way… Just go with the flow.
Our rooms
Private rooms
Who said that hostel only rhymes with “dorm”? If you are a big time snorer and would prefer to avoid the guilt in the morning, a private room is your perfect choice.
When you travel, the connections you create with new people will leave your head filled with beautiful memories. Our dorms allow your unforgettable travel experience to start from your very own room, mixing affordability and fun.
Our Barsù is perfect for an aperitif with sunset view, perhaps after a swim in the pool. Discover the Bargiù with our breathtaking parties and live concerts. If you are hungry you can go to Barmezzo and taste a traditional pasta or a yummy pizza. The choice is yours, we’ll take care of the rest.
Get lost in the squares, get your hands dirty with the lampredotto (typical Florentine sandwich) and toast with a good Chianti wine! Then, burn the calories with a stroll on Ponte Vecchio … but be careful not to fall in love! If that’s not enough, we offer cooking classes, from wine tasting to homemade pasta! Finally, to recover your energy choose an aperitif in the pool or a Yoga lesson on our Terrace. Take your pick!!
Ours is not a simple workspace, it is an inspiring network for those who want to learn, meet and exchange new ideas. Our spaces are made especially for you!
If the brainstorming has given you a headache you can fix it with beerstorming … That’s just what you need after a day’s hard work!! We also have an unusual kitchen that turns into a meeting room, a co-working area and a recording studio.
It felt like a 5 star hotel mixed with summer camp fun. Rooftop pool, restaurant and bar were amazing amenities and the rooms were spotless and quiet. The activities and high energy in the common areas were a good boost of moral even on rainy or cold days. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Really clean, comfortable place! Free pasta every night which was awesome! Just really bad wifi, I had to use a lot of my eSIM which costs money so that kinda sucked:((

It was one of the finest hostels I have stayed in Italy. However, I could not say the same for Yellow Square Milan. At Florence, I truly enjoyed the vibe, energy, and infrastructure of the place, which was very well maintained.

My friend and I stayed in all-female room and it couldn’t have gone better! These are the things that were particularly appreciated & useful to us:
1) Safe and secure! You needed your room card to access several doors and hallways to get to your room. There were always staff around and they were super welcoming, friendly and approachable. The rooms had standing lockers for each bed to lock your bags in (we had 40L hiking packs that fit, but other girls in our room weren’t able to fit their hard suitcases in them)
2) Rooftop pool & patio! This is what really won us over in booking here. The pool was really cold (it was April) but rooftop was gorgeous; good views, chairs, loungers and tables, and showers right inside the door.
3) Proximity to downtown! Train stop right down the street, only a few stops away from downtown streets, and many trees, shops and stores all around.
4) Super clean! They had cleaners come in every morning to clean the bathroom in our room. They also provided hand soap, shampoo, body wash and toilet paper.
5) Laundry machines in the basement! It was SO convenient having in the same building, it was a few euros per load but they were quite large and also included detergent
6) Large communal kitchen! Stocked with plates, cups, mugs, utensils and cleaning supplies (also large fridges & shelf space)
7)FREE pasta every night! You just need to make sure you get in line on time to ensure you get some as they’d run out quickly.
8) Wonderful roommates! This was probably more by chance but we were roomed with other women who were our age or older (25+). They were all super clean, tidy, respectful, quiet, and we all went to sleep before midnight. We were a bit worried apon arrival since the hostel seemed to have a large, younger, party-crowd with events every night. We all got along wonderfully and made some genuine & lovely friendships and connections.
9) Comfy beds and air conditioning! Compared to other hostels, we had great sleeps, the beds were comfy, and the room felt really cool at night while sleeping (it got quite hot during the day). While there were often people up late outside partying and talking, the noise was never an issue for us and the building did have ‘quiet hours’ each night.

Stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it! Location was great and I loved how many events there were going on, even though I only attended the karaoke night. Facilities were clean and in great shape.

The staff was friendly, the food was good (we had breakfast once). The facilities were good and the common space was lively and fun. We didn't do any of the organized activities so I can't speak on those. Overall we had a nice experience and I wouldn't mind coming back someday!

The 4-bed room has a good size and a nice private bathroom. It's great that the beds have curtains. The hostel itself has great facilities, excellent breakfast and an awesome schedule of entertainment at night.

Very pleasant, I felt comfortable in a space, with many options to do inside and the hotel is close to the Redi and Belfiore tram station, which helps you get close to everything in Florence; the free pasta in the evening is really appreciated and I loved the Zen garden and its vegetable patch.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. This is my second time staying at YellowSquare Florence - the first time in a dorm and the second in a private room. Both times they exceeded expectations! They are very affordable with good quality and I love the cafe/breakfast area they have by the reception desk.

This hostel was so fun! This was maybe hostel #7 that I stayed in for my trip through Italy, and it was most definitely my favorite one. Everyone was very social and very open to making friends. Yellowsquare themselves fosters a space that breeds community amongst its guests. This hostel was a little more expensive then I was used to paying, but 100% worth it.

This hostel is maintained very clean. You get almost everything you need starting from the curtains to the free pasta they give everyday. The food in the hostel is very affordable and of high quality.
This place also has a very balanced vibe. Its not extremely party party nor is it super boring. Interesting games happen every night for people to socialise. I would 100% stay here again when i am in florence.

Amazing hostel. The best I’ve ever been in terms of infrastructure. Amazing rooms and bathrooms, great food, perfect social activities, incredible employees. Location is far from the messy touristic area but one can reach there in a short walk.

I liked this hostel. I'm glad it was so close to the tram stops.
The free pasta was a nice way to come together in a social setting.
I got a good free book from the shelf.
I had lots of fun at karaoke. The noise stayed downstairs, from the room I didn't hear anything, very good soundproofing.

I really enjoyed my stay at Yellow Square in Florence. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and clean, and the bed comfortable. Lots of great people and good vibes in the evening. But also space to relax on your own or work if you need it. Great coffee and breakfast. Would recommend and stay here again myself :)

The place was great and had such a cool vibe. Loved all the events the hostel put on, and it was truly such a social environment. As a female traveler, I felt comfortable and safe being there and they had implemented so many safety measures. I also appreciated how clean our hostel was! Would for sure go back in a heartbeat, and it was such an amazing experience.

The hostel's location is perfect. It's right in front of the tram and a few stations away from the center. The staff were helpful & very quick to explain everything to me. The rooms were very clean, as well as the bathrooms. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel welcome. Would definitely recommend!!!
